Drones are taking the world by storm. They capture incredible aerial footage and fantastic zoom shots with their agile capabilities and great camera lens.
One of the coolest new options on the market is the DJI Spark Drone. It’s tiny, lightweight and made with a sleek and effective design. Though your flight time will be a little shorter because the battery is smaller, you’ll never feel the drones weight on you when carrying it around.
Here’s a guide to everything you need to know when you’re ready to own this drone:
Dynamic Design
The DJI Spark Drone is small. It’s only 143 x 143 x 55mm and weighs about 10.6 ounces. This is great because it will fit into any backpack, or can even hang off you with no hindrance because of weight.
Though the DJI Spark Drone doesn’t have legs and arms that fold like some of the others, you can still collapse the propellers. The propellors will lock into place as soon as the rotors start going. The drone has an optional charging case to and ends up being about the same size as some hefty collapsible sunglasses.
This makes it so easy to tote your drone around. If you’re taking it on vacation, you won’t have to worry about it taking up any extra room in your bag either.

Furthermore, the Active Track lets you lock the drone’s sights on a specific person, place, or thing and then follow it for the entirety of its flight. If you’re feeling really able with your done, then kick it into sport mode and send your DJI Spark Drone flying at speeds up to 31 mph.
While in sport mode the drone will go into the first-person view. There are automated software controls in the app that lets you take a series of QuickShots and lets you capture some pretty amazing dramatic shots.
